About

Carol Carpenter Training was founded by Carol Carpenter in 1996, and over the last 15 years have provided training and consultancy services to organisations all over the UK.

We work with organisations in the public sector, private sector and third sector organisations offering business advice, Consultancy, training and coaching services. All of our learning and development services and solutions are tailor-made for the organisations we work with ensuring the work remains original and relevant. We also focus strongly on a SKA-based model addressing the skills, knowledge and attitude needed for great performance.

During the last two years, the business has experienced a period of growth in terms of trainers and services available. We have developed several new and unique training products which have enhanced our existing services and offered our clients a real point of difference.

We believe that training should be challenging, energising and fun!

Our delivery styles reflect this belief and each of our trainers have been selected because of their ability to inspire, motivate to achieve sustainable and measurable results.

Our courses are interactive and practical, providing advice not only on application of techniques and processes, but also on "behavioural" learning. We encourage individuals to focus on their attitude and behaviour around processes as we believe it"s not what you do, but the way that you do it that makes a difference! Through all our training we provide an environment a catalytic space for people to decide to change.

Our skill as trainers is the way we flex and react with our delegates throughout our training. We do not stick to a rigid script or a dogmatic training plan. We have a good understanding of the learning outcomes required for the session so we allow the issues raised by delegates in the training to be discussed and explored, in a controlled but sensitive way to allow any sticking points to be resolved not "parked" or dismissed. In fact we think that it is our ability to flex in this way that has such positive impact on the delegates we train, no matter how diverse or challenging the groups.

This is how we work

In addition to the core Senior Team, Carol Carpenter Training can utilise the expertise of our additional consultants at any time.

Each one selected for their blend of business experience, knowledge and delivery capability. Our reputation is second to none and we always endeavour to work with the very best trainers with particular skills in delegate engagement. All projects are managed by our Senior Management Team. For each project, we appoint an account manager to coordinate and ensure the highest levels of customer experience. The choice of consultant will depend on the training need and of course specialist sector. Each consultant has areas which they are responsible for and they will either lead the projects in those areas or be part of the project team. Our approach ensures we capture and share the value of every project experience. We’re fortunate in that we’ve proved our ability to work with clients like McDonalds, Virgin Trains The Go-Ahead Group and Vision Express whilst delivering sustained high levels of training to smaller companies and organisations in the public sector.
